Delivery & Customs Information
When ordering from sshhmute.com, you must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination. Orders shipped outside of New Zealand may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The customer of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient; Bremner Music & sshhmute.com has no control over these charges, nor can Bremner Music & sshhmute.com predict what they may be.
Please note that orders cannot be cancelled once the order has been shipped (e.g. it has been picked up by the courier and has already left New Zealand en route to your country).
When purchasing a product from our website, you are required to click on our terms and conditions, which states "By checking this check box, I agree to accept any additional customs, duty and/or tariff charges to my order after it has been sent by Bremner Music. Bremner Music, sshhmute.com and any shipping service that Bremner Music uses to ship their products have no part in deciding the costs of these charges. This is a really terrific but inexpensive practice mute. It has minimal resistance and yet dramatically reduces sound output so you can practice to your heart's content without disturbing anyone else. It is also vey lightweight and durable.
Because of a lack of stock in the UK (most dealers appear to have been supplied with the large bell version - make sure you get the standard medium one), I ordered mine direct from the manufacturer. Even though Bremner are based in New Zealand, the parcel arrived in less than a week and I paid just £7 for postage costs (it was very efficiently dispatched by DHL). I was very impressed with Bremner's speedy service and the added touches of a soft bag and a few other Christmas goodies were much appreciated!

Love Ssh Mutes. I was gifted a trombone Ssh mute for Christmas and adore it, it quickly replaced my existing mute. This mute has been bought as a present. Lots of colour options and the website is very easy to navigate. Very easy to order with quick shipping and delivery. The hand written thank you note inside is a nice touch. Please bring out straight and cup mutes!
Fast delivery with excellent postage tracking information. The mute has very little back pressure, and produces a good tone but at practice mute volume! Would recommend.
A few weeks ago one of my graduate horn students told me about an amazing practice mute he tried out at the IHS' Southeast Horn Workshop. I immediately ordered one online for my Finke Legacy double horn and it arrived yesterday (along with a very nice handwritten greeting card!). I love this mute! There is basically no back pressure, unlike others on the market, and the sound is beautiful and in tune. This is an exceptional practice mute!
