Mike Cottone

Hailing from Rochester, NY, Mike Cottone is a first call trumpeter in the Los Angeles area where he has performed and toured with Postmodern Jukebox, Bette Midler, Blood Sweat & Tears, Ebi, Gwen Stefani, Don Henley, Dylan Chambers, Casey Abrams, The Marias, Ulysses Owens Jr., Holophonor, The Mudbug Brass Band, The Eagles, and Booker T.

Mike has also recorded trumpet for Ziggy Marley, Neil Diamond, Al Jarreau, Haley Reinhart, Mike Posner, Niia Bertino, John Legend, Aditya Prakash, Sal Valentinetti, and is recently a featured soloist on Michael Buble's latest release, Higher.

Mike can be heard on multiple films and TV scores such as The 4400, Blue Bayou, The United States vs. Billy Holiday, Dear White People, When They See Us, SOMM: Into The Bottle, Zombieland 2: Double-Tap, Godfather of Harlem, Wonderlove, and Crime of the Century.

Mike holds degrees in performance and education from the Eastman School of Music, The Juilliard School, and attended the prestigious Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz led by jazz legends Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter.
