Jimmy King (Bruno Mars)

Jimmy King tours, performs and records with Grammy-award winning artist Bruno Mars, playing the trumpet and performing background vocals in three world tours to date.

After completing both a Bachelor's Degree in Music & Trumpet Performance from Morehouse College and a Master's Degree in Jazz Studies from Georgia State University, Jimmy launched his professional career as a trumpet player both as a solo and backing artist, and as an artist, songwriter and lyricist. He has performed and recorded with Angie Stone, PJ Morton, Monica, Mary J. Blige, John Legend, David Banner, and Janelle Monae, among a host of other artists.
