sshhmute is the best practice mute I have ever played. It is free blowing throughout the entire range, especially noticeable in the upper and lower register, unlike other mutes I have used. I would recommend this to any professional or student player. It is exceptional...and a great price! This is the first practice mute with a realistic response. The sshhmute is slightly more open, allowing a greater natural feel and excellent intonation. The shape is very well thought out. It fits into all my trumpets and cornets with the same good qualities.
